Jonathan approves new team for electricity management

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the creation of Electricity Management Services Limited (EMS) and its management team.
The Deputy Director/Head of Press of the Federal Ministry of Power, Mr. Timothy Oyedeji, disclosed this in a statement yesterday.

The statement described the approval as part of continued efforts to reposition the nation’s power sector in general and to ensure proper sectoral co-ordination of the various electricity chain services in particular.
It noted that the new body has become expedient at this critical time as the power sector transits from public sector – led to a private sector – driven one.

Their names are as follows:  Managing Director/CEO, Engr.  Peter Ewesor; Executive Director, Technical Services, Engr. Tukur M.
