An unnamed dog owner went berserk over his missing dog and shot dead his 40-year-old friend, Sege-Daniel Olotu, for daring to crack jokes while the search for the missing dog was in progress.
The dog owner, who was identified as a former militant leader, was said to be armed with an AK 47 riffle during the “frantic search for his missing dog”, unknown to his friend that he was “dead serious” over the dog.
A source, who craved anonymity, said the ex-agitator shot Olotu at a drinking spot.
He said when the dog owner was desperately looking for his missing dog, his friend, allegedly cracking jokes about the incident, invited him to join them for drinks at the bar.
