  2. for el-rufai to address the president of the federal republic of nigeria like this,it really shows lack of respect for the office and innate irresponsibility towards the exalted office of the president.this type of pronouncement only reduces the speaker and makes riddicle of nigerians to outsiders.i think the statement or name calling is not reasonable.

    1. Sorry pls but such a̶̲̥̅̊ situation happens only when a̶̲̥̅̊ country ÈŠ̝̊̅§ drifted by its corrupt leaders then the office of such high calibre becomes a̶̲̥̅̊ mockery of itself including the corrupt individual occupying same office.

    1. No matter what, we should show some decorum when addressing our President, cos his office doesn't permit any of us, no matter our exalted positions,to insult him. Hon Minister, u were way out of line along that line.

  6. Abeg!!! All you silly idiots defending Mr johnathan should just shut your traps!!! If I had a worst name I will call that irresponsible otuoke man, how can you pardon a thief? He is a thief himself, so I am bot suprised. Let's stop all this sanctimonious nonsense about the exalted office of the president, when the useless man is dragging our image in a dung pile. It is the height of criminality for johnathan to carry on as he does and we should not mince words in telling him. I am so angry right now and like every other Nigerian who has any inkling of moral fibre in them, totally disgusted by the present administration. A government for the theives, by the thheives and for the theives. What useless and idiotic president carries on like jona? The north is on fire, he cares less, all he cares about is his ambition to hold on to power. The idiot should better read the hand writing on the wall, we are all mortal and alas God has the final say.

  7. El Rufai is an intelligent person, but it seems he lacks piety and basic home training. I wish he just could be an opposition as he has chosen to and contribute to nation building rather than insult a person and deride the office of the president.

  8. A scumbag? I'had to use the dictionary it means to despise as to humans. Ok EL.only qualified as regards personal feeler's as to the blind people we supposedly sent to the House.of glass people we tot culd xange our reasoning but are just a pack of ignorant thieves coniving to bring back to dat house Alams whos crimes are next to Adolf hitler of Germany. I pity u daft comentator's who do nothing but allow evil trive i bet u wil be waiting to marry a senator maggots

  9. I don't support Alams' pardon neither do I support your statement, El Rufai. You r a disgrace to your fans. Show some respect to the office of the President. Why has nothing been asked of the national house of Assembley? Why have you,mr mouthpiece not questioned the leadership, Senator David Mark? I bet we all know why. How many of the national treasury looters in the country have you strongly come against? You have some scripts you are playing out as regards GEJ. Its not helping your image and you are on the slide downhill -PH Nedum

  10. The President has really exposed himself to all manner of insult and ridicule. It will not be surprising to know the amount of facts at the disposal of El-Rufai to address the president like that. The president should look inward.

  11. El Rufai, addresing ur president with insult shouldn't be part of u, why are u doing this to urself u are making ridicle of urself. How many people did u render homeless as an FCT minister. the present government do not need ur services, so respect urself.

  13. As you spread your mat, so you will lie on it! The idiot can call the President any name he likes, because the President thinks that to accomodate fools and their extreme insults, is a sign of righteous-ness! Imagine a fool, calling a Living Nigerian president '' Scumbag! And he is still breathing! God forbid. Where is Abacha, IBB, Buhari, OBJ? Would they have taken the bulshit?

  14. I think a spade should be called a spade. The word "scumbag" means a very unpleasant person who has done something dishonest or unacceptable-ADV learner 3rd Ed, from every indication the word exactly describe what Mr PRESIDENT did to the sacred office he is presently occupying and I am in perfect agreement by letting him know his show of error. Please leave Mallam Elrufai out of this and let every hater of corruption and bad governance speak out against "bad precedence" Mr PRESIDENT is setting. Corruption can not be fought and won the way things are going in this administration and hence the need for all to echo it to Mr PRESIDENT subconscious in order to do right things. Amnesty to a treasury looter? Too too bad. May be amnesty should be granted to all prisoners in prison pan Nigeria as long as they show remorse. I detest the action of Mr PRESIDENT with great passion. KSF Akure.

  15. Rufai, where lies your intellectualism? As an intellectual, one expects you to differ with the President without insulting his person and office. We should learn from our elder statesmen. I never heard the late Dr. Nnadi Azikiwe insult our beloved Shehu Shagari during his reign. Those who insulted their elders paid for it in terrible ways. God demands our submission to authorities as they are not carrying the sword in vain. The exalted office of Presidency always eludes those who antagonize and insult incumbents. I love IBB for his calculated silence on turbulent issues, and when he speaks, he speaks with wisdom and decorum. Rufai insulted our faith by making cynical statement about our Lord Jesus, today he is insulting the presidency. Don't forget that GEJ was the deputy to Governor Alams., and it was the misdemeanor of Alams that made way for him to become Governor and subsequently Head of State. If he forgives his Oga (after what he has gone through); what about that!. Remember, he that wears the shoe knows where it pinches.

  16. Those u mentioned can never misbehave, even 4 once like this imbecile mumu called GEJ.

  17. Please take time again to read El Rufai's tweet, I don't think his use of scumbag was addressed to GEJ. Understand that statement b4 making ur comments. I'm not defending EL Rufai because lately he has got himself into cheap media recognition

  18. If he is a scumbag granting Alama presidential pardon then what do we call you who made unwarranted jokes with our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ?
    A vagabond...

  19. Why is he or anyone shouting? Even the US is shouting someone pls remind them that when president Richard Nixon resign at d eve of his impeachment over the watergate scandal, his successor and former vice Gerald Ford gave him a presidential pardon that save him from being tried. But when such happens in Nigeria they'll label us as d most corrupt country in d world. The president only acted the human part of being a president some sentiment to his former boss is not too bad, after all the man has served out his jail term.

  20. El-rufai has no regard for even our Savior JESUS,those who are supporting him lacks common sense.

Anonymous 3:33pm,GEJ is not the cause of Bombing in the Northern states,go and ask northern leader's who want to make the nation ungorvanable what is happening there.

No responsible Man will insult the office of the president, for the presidency is above the president.Northerners are rascals and their looking for every possible means to make this country Ungovarnable. Nigerians be Wise.

  21. when I ws young, if I made a mstake, my father use to call me and tell me my mstakes so that I wll immidiatelly correct myself., so with this thng is better for the elders to call the president and tell him what he did ws wrng, he wll think and he may even reject the illegal pardon,,,, or he wll free all the inmates in Nigerian prison including Almustapha.,,,,,,,.long live Ebelle, long live Nja

  22. Its is only proper that things should be done right at the right time, the pardon given to Alams should not have come this time even if the President has d powers to do so. What the Country needs now is not pardoning ex-convicts. I see someone like El Ruf jst expressing himself to extent he's beeing disappointed with d pardon jst as so many Nigerians watching behind d scene. When so many things are going wrong, I think that name is even elevating the President as he is worse than a scumbag. Where are all the SURE-P moneys? We still lack stable power supply, good roads, security etc. Robbing peter to pay paul. Where r all the subsidy money? The minister of fininace mentioned that the SURE-P account was empty two months ago.GEJ should wake up. All he is concerned about now is second term. GEJ is a real disappointment to Nigerians as he has fallen short of our expectations.

  23. El Rufais father and mother are the true scum bags for not giving their son basic home training. How dare him address the president like that. The president apart from occupying the office is El Rufais senior in age. Was he never thought to respect his seniors?
Most of the times we speak our speech talks volume of our background and up bringing.
El Rufai has absolutely no moral justification to attack the president on the grounds of corruption

  24. It is very irresponsible of any body to Abuse his leader irrespective of his shortcomings. The likes of El-Ruffai should engage in constructive debates that can make a change rather than resorting to abusive words. This is debasing for the speaker not the President. I am not happy with the Presidents approach to leadership, however, we must not reduce the office to mud.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The President can only retaliate if indeed he is one. Im sure he isn't, so Mr El-Ruffai, I only pity you because your words will rain curses and nemesis on you. Watch and see.

  26. Is alams really worth forgiven after reading his profile?

  27. hell rufai is a mad man for calling the president such a name. he forgets those who over throw the government as militry leader and came back to re-consest for the presidential post. he hell rufai how much he steal from us when he was the FCT minister.

  28. Nasir, i am disappointed in you. You are not mindful of your statements as a former public office holder. Please , show some decorum to constituted authority. You are talking too much.

    ReplyDelete
  29. No matter the sin of Mr President, Mr El Rufia has not shown respect for all the years of he El Rufia's training in the university nor for the civilized interations he had had all these years as a public servant. Is it not the same El RUFIA that paid his corp member mistress in HARD CURRENCY during his tenor in BPE.where on earth did he get the audacity to talk to our president as if he is talking to his houseboy. This man has lost all political and public relevance and is using all means possible to stage a comeback including insults on authorities, blacmails and comic and disparage remarks on dignitaries. This is unbecoming of a former public servant who should know better. Please somebody should call Mr El Rufia to order now.

    ReplyDelete
  30. for those who attack El-rufai for his abusive use of word against the president, you have shown your moral self, i hope Rufai will take note of that. so now do you same people applaud Mr GEJ for his presidential pardon to Mr Alam? do you think the present government has any moral right to fight corruption in Nigeria. How can a public official be charged of corrupt practices by a court abroad and also convicted in Nigeria and given presidential partial and barely after the pardon he came out with a political poster vying for senate office in 2015.this alone has degraded the Nigerian presidency and not Rufai's use of word

    ReplyDelete
  31. As a Nigerian El-rufai has every right to exercise his constitutional right of expressions. Those that are criticizing him for his abusive words against GEJ are impliedly applauding Jonathon for legalizing corruption in Nigeria. EFCC now have no any moral right to continue with the case of Hon. Faruq Lawal.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well El Rufai himself was currupt while in office, Jonathan has messed everyone up to such an extent that anything can be let out, US that approved same sex why should about tolerating material misconduct, shot ur trap Obama how can a pervert guide a saint ?
