PICTURES: Inside Pastor Oritsejafor's Private Jet

CAN President, Pastor Oritsejafor was presented with the "gift" of the jet via a projector at a lavish party that marked the 40th anniversary of his work as a pastor in Warri. President Goodluck Jonathan was in attendance at the event where Mr. Oritsejafor received the jet. One source described the pastor as “ferociously close to President Jonathan.”

Mr. Oritsejafor’s jet is a Canadian-made Bombardier jet with US registration number N431CB. The jet was manufactured in 1994 and previously belonged to two different owners in the US, our records revealed. The private jet was last used in New Jersey by C R BARD IN of Murray Hill, New Jersey.

SaharaReporters learnt that the jet was flown out of the US from Morristown, New Jersey in September 2012 ostensibly to be retrofitted and serviced before delivery last week to Mr. Oritsejafor.
Records accessed by us on the Internet indicated that the jet’s owners in New Jersey listed it for sale in July 2012.

The data also showed that the jet had once been upgraded to give it more engine power. The jet’s interior is furnished with gold accents in the toilet and bathroom area.

  6. God will judge us in this country. B'cos the highest crime is been committed in Nigeria. A serving governor flying to his govern state every day. House committe chairman receiving bribe from a criminal. Government bribing religious leaders. Where are we going in 9ja? Do we have EFCC? WHEN WILL THE WORLD END? Nigerians can bribe God if possible

  9. This is very good, wen those that are ment to speak for the fatherless, helpless in d country now turn their back to speak for their belly infact it is a good development and on Sunday he will call service abi preach also to the congregation to repent or wat will come out of his mouth?
Why can't he ask the gift giver to invest it by creating jobs for people instead he received it with simles on his face thinking it's a blessing.

  14. Na bad belly dey worry una. If you say you believe in a good father God, why do you find it hard to accept that He can bless his servants with the good things of life. A man goes to a shrine, dedicates his heart to the devil and becomes stupendously rich and it makes sense to you, but a man of God is bless and you start shouting... but I am sure you will give your best to your children. 15. Mr Zubike I truly admire your comment... When people get blessed truly we become jealous and start to cast stones, but when there are other corrupt people making themselves rich via evil means nobody say nothing just because we don't receive from them, those that are talking help the poor yourself, make sacrifice for the less privilege, and see if God wouldn't bless you too. Let us begin to help one another and not say our leaders, our leaders. What have you done to help someone around you that is hungry. Every little help we all put in goes a long way... God bless our great country Nigeria and God bless our leaders...

  16. What is going on in this country? As far as I can remember, Jesus said "I come for poor people". But those pretending they are serving Him are acquiring jets and many other valuable things. Please somebody tell me: Do IMAMS also do the same? It's sad.

  20. Why are so prone to criticize at every slight opportunity in naija? If na you won't you collect the gift? who no like good thing.

    ReplyDelete
  21. If i am CAN President I will receive it and convert it to value and use for the church in other ways Definitely i will not ride it. Jesus use the things of the poor not the rich, does it mean he never got offers from ceasar of Rome or the affluent in Israel ?

    ReplyDelete
  22. does he really need a jet???/,,,,na wa oh naija we hail thee

  23. Na wa for this guy .

Why putting water in ocean when there is countless dessert land .

Do we really care about less privileged in this country ?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Several money used in buying private jet which I consider as an unnecessary luxury would have been utilised better in providing for the less privilege in Nigeria. Or don't we know what it cost to pack jet in any airport not to talk of hiring a pilot to move the jet? May God help this Nation, as for me I see this as a waste, total waste for that matter.

  25. There is no false saying that churches in Nigeria are the bedrock of capitalism:Jesus never owned any private Jet,yet he fulfilled his mission on earth.

These guys are all chasing winds, quite a pity if you believe their gospel economics, all aimed at getting your resources at all cost to enrich their selfish desires.

Why would he accept such a gift“aeroplane” if not that our roads are quite unsafe to use anymore or that he wants to be reverred and counted among the leagues of capitalist bishop( which has replaced the old title “pastor”) in Nigeria christendom. Why can't the church use the money to meet the needs of the victims of Boko haram calamities? No that is not as important as the new image the gift will present for the papa or the respect the aeroplane can evoke amongs his fellow capitalist Bishop.

They are all moving to Arch bishop; will I be bothered to see a pentecostal Pope. I don't think so if you ask me.

The government should tax these rich churches,I mean these guys have totally forgot their mission and are busy amassing wealth out of their poor congregation.

May God have mercy on all of us for indeed all have sinned and come short of his glor

  26. Hehehehehe... Even a nursery 1 student cannot be fooled by these stories. How can †ђξ word life bible church give out a Jet as birthday gift? Is †ђξ church itself worth a billion naira? Oh! C'mon stop telling us dis shit. Dis is a pure work of †ђξ federal gov't using †ђξ church as a camouflag. †ђξ clueless gov't has dashed a so-called man of God jet instead of addressing †ђξ myriad of problems confronting us as a nation, and worst still he even happily accepted †ђξ gift.I've lost my respect 4 dis man bcos †ђξ fear of †ђξ Lord α̲̅πϑ †ђξ love of †ђξ world (material tins) can not abide in †ђξ same hrt. He has failed †ђξ Christaindom. If only he realised dat he's nt growing any younger may be he would ve rejected †ђξ gift α̲̅πϑ save his reputation! How much time does he think he has to live? Where he is heading to is not even a quarter of where he has left. He shld hav known better by lookin at himself in †ђξ mirror α̲̅πϑ counting †ђξ grey hairs on his head. Our leaders are so dumb and hard hearted. Y shld u empower †ђξ already powerful while †ђξ less priviledged struggle to survive? God is watching α̲̅πϑ He's not a God of injustice. Everyone will get his recompense according to how one lives. It shall be well with us. *smh... Jet fa!!!

  27. Religon has finished our people. we now fuel the stupid high taste of our socalled men of God. After private jets what next. it began with exotic cars and Jeeps

  28. If u are angry, go and ask Jonathan for your own. If Jonathan were to give out a jet, he doesn't need to be there knowing people will be suspicious. Those who have contributed know this is not from Jonathan and that the Pastor needs it. God will bless them for it. None of you stick out your neck to talk against boko haram. You always hide under the toga of anonymous. Those who come out openly need both spiritual and physical shielding. Those of you who believe so much in the poor have not even given out a worn-out shoe for the past 7years. - AJ

  30. Many have got riches before them, ask. where are their riches. after their death, you better think.
Even. if God bless you, why not follow Christ that make no reputation for himself, but ministered to peoples need, men of God follow Christ where it only benefit their selfishness.
