Father Squanders Money Raised For The Treatment Of His Very Sick Son

There is a sad development in the case of Baby Kelechi, who has a hole in his heart and paralysis on his left hand.
In June 2012, a post asking to help a little baby named Kelechi – the little angel with a hole in the heart and paralysis on his left hand – was put up on the Internet, the quest was championed by Popular Blogger Linda Ikeji.
Baby Kelechi (now 1 year and 3months) was only about two weeks old when his parents noticed some changes in him which included fast breathing, sleepless nights and frequent fatigue amongst
other things. Kelechi had problem ingesting food and had to be fed through his nose. Doctors gave several diagnosis which included malaria, fever and related ailments. On the 21st of October 2011, the result of the diagnosis revealed that Kelechi had a grade 3/6 systolic murmur, in simpler terms, an unusual noise in the heart commonly known as a hole in the heart.

Kelechi has got some sort of paralysis on his left hand and finds it difficult to stand. Doctors say he might get brain damaged if he doesn’t get treatment as soon as possible.
Kelechi needed about N4 million for quick surgery in India, and a lot of people came to his aid.

According to Linda Ikeji, The people in charge of the cause just revealed really bad news. The money was raised through Kelechi’s father’s account, and the man allegedly squandered the money… all of it!
The man has been arrested, and currently he is at Ikoyi Prisons, pending when he’s able to post N500,000 bail. The Commissioner of Police signed the petition against him through the PPRO’s office. He will be charged to court soon.
Baby Kelechi is still sick.

  3. this is an adanced 419. All those involved including the boggers and those going about soliciting for funds must be investigated. It is sad that they used the misfortune of an innocent sibbling to further their greedy and wicked interest. May be why the thing came out this way is because of disagreeneb\nt over the sharing formular.

  4. Though, it is sadden but the fact is Scale of preference simply means arrangement of human needs in the order of hierarchy. So who knows the needs of Father baby Kelechi?
