Picture of the Day (Tinubu Bow-Greeting Buhari Servitude Or Respect?)

Servitude Or Respect?
Your Thoughts...

( Hide )
  1. These ACN guys are bunch of gold diggers. They were the champions of evils of Miltary rule now they are the best bootlickers of Northern old dictators whom they condemned few years ago and ready to call any yorubaman dealing with Northerners as Hausa Slaves. Yorubas shine your eyes against 2015. Your destiny is your hands.

  2. It's nothing but respect.

  3. Yes he deverse it. He is only person dat rule dis nation without a single house in Abuja go check. Long Live Gen. Buhari !!! Long Live Naija!!!

  4. Any body saying anything ill about Buhari is an evil person. In ur village they don't have elders.everybody in PDP are scared of him because he has promised to expose all the so called godfathers there and bcos they know he will make dem irrelevant in nigeria

  5. And So ... not having houses in Abuja means what?...does that exonerate him from being a bad leader? ... not being corrupt is not the only ingredient of becoming a president of a nation ... you need good leadership qualities in an egalitarian society like Nigeria where all tribes/ethnicity/religions will be treated equally ... drive his national visions through with zeal, courage and fear of anybody except God.

I respect Alh. Moh Burhari but I don't think he has the quality to rule Nigeria, period giveng his anticedences over the years.

  6. Gov. Bola Tinubu is just being Respectful to the Great General Buhari cos he knows Buhari remains the Only Incorruptible General that ruled Nigeria.

  7. Respect, of course! The hausa leaders too show respect (and bow)to the southern leaders when they thex meet at public (private function). It shows humility and mortality of BAT, despite the difference in approach to opposition. Thanks for showing this picture to reflect that BAT is not to arrogant type that had been portrayed. Thanks really.

  8. In the game of politics, there is no friend; no foe. Many Nigerians are waiting for an epiphany before it dawns on them that Nigerian oligarchs are from one and the same Local Government Area. Be my Guest!

  9. WHAT DO U THINK IS WRONG? IF BUHARI WERE A YORUBA MAN, WOULD U HAVE OBJECTED? ARE THEY MATES? BUHARI IS A GEM. AND I'M IGBO.

  10. Can you please refer us to any instance where Tinubu Prostrated to any Yoruba Tranditional or Yoruba Leader as demanded Yoruba Culture. You apologists were crying foul When Alao-akala prostrated for Adedibu in Ibadan few years ago. We are noting your antics, you think Buhari would commandeer the whole north to follow Tinubu Of Lagos. We are getting wiser by the day. Since Tinubu does not own any house in Abuja as well bcos he's as clean as Buhari. Thank God for social media expose on this pix.

  11. To some of you not in support of Buhar , Can you name better person than him as at know in this country ?

If you are not in support of Buhar , name your candidate and let public debate on him or her .

May God Bless Nigeria and bless Buhar.

  12. Its unfortunate that Nigerians hadly remember/recognise qualities of a good leader, for thier sights are always covered with personal bias and irrational judgments. There is no question about Buhari's integrity, loyalty to the nation, patriotism and above all accountability. General Buhari was not only a military head of state, he has held several positions of influence in the past. While non has indicted him of his genuiness, they found comfort in questioning his means of becoming the president. Its possible for youths of now a days to castigate the impecceble personality of the General because they know him only as thier people want them to know him; as a vilain. Direct a simple question to who ever talks ill of Buhari. "What is wrong the born leader?" he will have but to say only laughable sentiments like he is an islamist, he could be Bokoharam sponsor, he doesnt know how to talk, he is Hausa etc. Pathetic how Nigerians think using thier anus in the stead of thier Brains.

  13. Nigerian eye, so what is the essence of this picture? haven't you see a Yoruba man prostrating for an elders before or Buhari and Tinububu are mates?

You better engage yourself in meaningful publications and stop causing unnecessary confusion or you pack out completely.

    ReplyDelete
  14. yes, he really deserve it, remember, Buhari and Mandela are the only two politicians in the whole Africa recommended and invited by Barrack Obama for his swearing in ceremony

    ReplyDelete
  15. Though am not Buhari nor Tinubu's fan, bowing is part of Yoruba culture. So what's the big deal?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Don't be fooled! These (BAT in particular) are bloody politrician, playing thier bloody games.

    ReplyDelete
  17. When was this pix taken? Okay, watch out how Tinubu will give Buhari upper cut soon.

  18. We are in Africa and as such we respect our elders. Simple. Thumbs! Up Asiwaju.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I expect us to engage in meaningful debates please, we are in Africa and i see no reason why Tinubu can not bow down to buhari afterall he his older than him in age and we should not forget that the man is a former ruler of the country. As for those who keep condemning buhari i expect you to bring out a better candidate around the country who have prove more competent and incorruptible among the leaders in the country right now, some of you are just the bunch of people who are dealing with issues on personal bias and that how you encourage people to vote for Jonathan and now its down on all of us that the drunker does not worth the position only for us to start dangling around without any meaningful progress. Tinubu hasbeen prove right that he his not an arrogant person for showing respect to buhari and if you look at the picture critically buhari also bend for him in reciprocate. afteral obama also did them same during its visit to Africa. all you fools should leave buhari and tinubu alone.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Maybe the man is too short that mere bending makes bow down in respect. haha, wonders shall never end in 9ja with these politicians.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oga Osho, why not express your opinion rather than calling people FOOLS?. It is obvious who is the fool, from your written English. Nigerian Eye, please moderate/edit comments and spare us these uncooked and gutter snipes.
God will surely give us the Leaders we deserve in Nigeria. Shalom.

  22. Why all the noise about Asiwaju bowing down when he was greeting Buhari? Take a critical look into the picture and you will see that Buhari reciprocated Asiwaju's gesture too. This is no servitude. In Africa we respect our elders,Asiwaju is just 60 while Buhari is a little above 70,so what are we talking about?
In Yoruba land today, forget politics and sentiment Asiwaju remains a leader by ALL standards.
We should let these people be please

    ReplyDelete
  23. Can an Hausa man do same?

    ReplyDelete
  24. This portal is gradually turning into a forum to vent anger and make derogatory comments about individuals. I believe we should restrict ourselves to tackling issue rather than settling personal scores. I am sure that BAT knows why he bowed for Gen Buhari, period. That would neither improve the country's GDP nor create employment for the teeming unemployed graduates. Nigerian Eye, please bring out issues that will challenge our intelligence.

    ReplyDelete
  25. This is what happens when journalists become idle. Very soon, we will see posts like "Jonathan and Sambo, who dresses best". Nigerian Eye should be more professional in its posts, rather than bother itself and its readers with an individual's reason(s) for showing respect or disdain.
