The death of Mohits Records and the Birth of a new record label was confirmed by Africa's finest producer and
former CEO of Mohits Records on Twitter a few hours ago.
It's no longer Mohits Records, its now Mavin Records. And he has signed the new label's first female artist; the
unbelievably talented Ms Tiwa Savage. Aside from D'banj and his brother
Kayswitch, all the other artists under the now defunct Mohits records are with
Mavin Records.

It can be recalled that the Dbanj-Don Jazzy break up was a major catalyst for the destruction of the Mohits crew. with D'banj signed by American star Kanye West, and his brother Kay switch, loyal to him (what do you expect?) female Vocalist Tiwa savage has been signed by Don Jazzy urshering a new era in the Nigerian music industry.

Meanwhile a
compilation album titled Solar Plexus, produced by Don Jazzy and featuring Wande
Coal, Dr Sid, D'Prince and Tiwa Savage will be released tomorrow May 8th.
D'Banj Congratulates Don Jazzy on new record label
D'banj however congratulated his one-time business partner and friend, Don Jazzy on the launch of his new record label, Mavin Records.
D'banj, who reached out to Don Jazzy through the social media platform, Twitter, said; "Congrats to my brother and the best producer in Africa Don jazzy on the launch of his new Record Label, MAVIN RECORDS. Wish u all the best."
In response, music producer and owner of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy tweeted; "Thanks bro. God bless you."
On the other hand, an image which makes caricature of the Mavin crew, created by K-Switch, (D'banj's brother) has been passed round the social media platforms.
The image showed the poster of Mavin Record crew being re-done with photo effects and the names changed from Mavin Records to 'Revenge' and the part that read Solar Plexus changed to 'The Avengers'. There were also names replacing those of the crew members underneath the poster, such as; Captain Mushin, Eagle, Hulk, Russian Spy and Thor.
This act according to many has been viewed as childish considering that D'banj and Don Jazzy appeared to be in talking terms as depicted on their Twitter statuses.

ReplyDeleteFellow Nigerians, it is with great surprise to hear that people are trying to persuade our dear President – Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to have a direct talk with the so called Boko Haram killers. Where on earth should such destroyers call on their president without any bit of regard on his person / office, issue an automaton of going to commit more havoc to lives and properties should the president fail to yield to their call?

(1). In abid to actualize the EVIL agenda of the BOKO HARAM, president GEJ has been marked to be killed in disguise of requesting that a direct talk with him should be organized.
This is a set up by whoever that did it, to have Nigerian president killed (this Ijaws will not take lightly), throw Nigerians into War, spilt the nation, disrupt the government of a southerner which is the bedrock of NORTHERNERS PROVOKATION.
(2). GEJ is neither a weak nor I- don’t- Care Leader as many have summarized him for. The truth remains that supporters of BOKO HARAM are almost in every sector of GEJ government, including both the National Assembly and the Judiciary. GEJ is not alone in government, he adopts team spirit in relating with his cabinet which majorly have Boko Haram Fans.
(3). GEJ means WELL for Nigerians, even till now! Forces against his government from within and without are numerous. We all owe him our prayers to deliver. Boko Haram or its likes has discovered that killing GEJ is the most easiest way to finally distabilised not only Southern person as president but as well destroy Nigeria. A killer is a tool in the hands of Satan to carry out his act of Klling, stealing, and destroying. Boko Haram has the spirit of the devil who means No GOOD FOR ANY ONE. The truth is Nobody can successfully end BH. Kill all her members / Fans, in the process of time the spirit goes into others willing to achieve the devils aim. Adam and Eve were recorded as the ones who obeyed the devil’s voice, thereby sinning against God. They are dead, yet sin is still been committed by so many in this world. The spirit behind BH is of Satan. You can only minimize the effect of their existence but not to totally eradicate them. Only God can. But this will happen when Satan, his followers, and his agents are finally thrown into the LAKE OF FIRE.
